Q) Who is gas safe register? Have they replaced Corgi?
A) Yes, gas safe register replaced Corgi on April 1st 2009. Gas safe
register is run by capita gas registration and ancillary services limited.
Gas safe register is committed to substantially improving current levels of
awareness. There will be significant investment in a new gas safety brand
aimed at becoming the 'hallmark' of gas safety and a new gas safety charity
to specifically promote gas safety. Evidence suggests that less than 50% of
consumers understand the risks associated with gas and how to manage
them properly. This needs to be improved and Gas safe register have taken
over the Corgi registration to achieve this.
Q) Does your services cover all household and commercial/industrial
industries?
A) Yes. We service, install and repair all heating, gas and plumbing
requirements for all premises and buildings and yes, this also includes
kitchens and bathrooms.
Q) Do you supply service contracts?
A) Yes we do in the commercial/industrial section. For households we
contact you every year to rebook your annual service.
Q) Do you work with natural gas, LPG (propane), oil, warm air & blow
heaters, basically everything as in a one stop solution?
A) Yes we certainly do and yes we are a one stop solution.
Q) Are all your engineers qualified?
A) Yes. All our engineers have obtained the necessary ACS training to work
on gas, as required by gas safe register. They also undertake the necessary
training and assessments at regular intervals to abide by gas safe register
regulations.
Q) What areas do you cover?
A) We cover the areas of Basingstoke, Hampshire and surrounding areas.
Q) Can you provide me with a timed appointment?
A) Yes, give or take 30 minutes leeway at times.
